How BetBolt handles your personal data

Effective date: 26 October 2026
This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use BetBolt, why we need it, who we share it with and what you can do about it. It applies to players in the United Kingdom who open an account with us, deposit, play our games or bet on our sportsbook.

Data we collect

The data we collect falls into these groups:

  • Account details you enter when you sign up, which we use to run your account and to confirm you are 18 or over.
  • Payment records, including the cryptocurrency you use, wallet addresses and transaction references for deposits and withdrawals.
  • Play and betting history, covering games, stakes, results, rakeback and VIP rewards.
  • Technical data, such as device type, browser, IP address and the pages you visit.
  • Conversations you have with us through live chat.
  • Verification material, only if we ask for it later.

Why we use your data

We process personal data to open and maintain your account, take deposits and pay withdrawals, calculate rakeback and VIP rewards, and answer you in live chat. We also use it to prevent fraud and money laundering, keep the service secure, meet our legal obligations and improve how our pages and games work. Where the law requires your consent, for example for optional cookies or marketing, we ask for it first, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Identity checks

We do not ask for identity documents when you sign up. Verification can still be requested later, and checks usually come up around withdrawals and account activity. Material you send for a check serves to confirm who you are and to prevent fraud. As a rule, a withdrawal can be held while such a check is pending.

Crypto transactions and the blockchain

Deposits and withdrawals with us are made in cryptocurrency. Transfers recorded on a public blockchain are open to public view, and such records may be impossible to alter or remove. Separately, our own records note which wallet addresses are linked to your account.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to make the cashier and games work. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand how our pages are used. You can change your choice at any time in your browser settings; turning off essential cookies may stop parts of the service from working.

Who receives your data

We share personal data only where it is needed:

  • with service providers that host our platform, process payments or supply games;
  • with fraud-prevention and security partners;
  • with public authorities when the law requires us to disclose it.

Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, UK data protection law requires appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as your account is open and afterwards for the period our legal, tax, anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering obligations require. When that period ends, we delete the data or make it anonymous.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to erase data or limit how we use it, where the law allows;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing;
  • receive data you gave us in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent you have given.

To use any of these rights, message us through live chat. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. Should our answer leave you dissatisfied, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is the UK body that hears data protection complaints.

Under-18s

Our services are for adults aged 18 or over, and accounts are not open to anyone younger.
